About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command issued a Limited / Sole Source Justification Notice for a 12-month bridge contract with Deloitte & Touche LLP to support the Zero Trust Functional Management Office (ZT FMO). The contract, valued under Multiple Award Schedule GS-00F-029DA, will provide specialized services to maintain the continuity of Zero Trust strategy implementation and meet congressional and Department of Defense mandated timelines. The bridge contract, running from 01 May 2024 to 30 April 2025, is crucial because the Air Force currently lacks sufficient technical expertise to transition without the contractor, which represents 85% of the 18.5 manpower positions assigned to the DAF ZT FMO. The contract will be funded with FY24 Operations and Maintenance funds, with the intention of pursuing a competitive follow-on contract after this bridge period. The services will support the development of the Zero Trust roadmap, including strategy and implementation efforts, and establishing key internal controls and metrics of success. While an exact contract value was not specified, the contract supports the financial management services of an organization with over 650,000 military and civilian personnel and a budget exceeding $160 billion.
