About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Sacramento is seeking a small business contractor to conduct a comprehensive demolition project at the Sacramento Resident Office site. The project involves the complete demolition of three modular trailers, one gazebo, two storage structures, and associated site improvements, totaling approximately 6,000 square feet of building structures and 700 square feet of supporting structures. The scope of work includes complete removal of reinforced concrete curbs, sidewalks, and asphalt pavement, along with disconnection and capping of all utilities. The project is designed to prepare the site for turnover to the owning agency, requiring precise site restoration and demolition techniques. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on March 10, 2025, with responses due by April 29, 2025, indicating a relatively short solicitation period for interested contractors.

The project encompasses approximately 24,000 square feet of parking lot removal and site restoration, suggesting a substantial site transformation effort. While specific budget ranges are not disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the complexity and scale of the demolition suggest a significant contract value. The project falls under the Product Service Code (PSC) P400 for salvage and building demolition, which will help potential bidders understand the precise classification of the work.
