About this opportunity
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Defense Contract Administration Agency (DCMA) intend to negotiate and award delivery orders under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to The Boeing Company to provide spares, repairs, and integrated logistics and engineering sustainment support for Harpoon/SLAM-ER missiles. This sole source procurement will support various U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales requirements related to the Harpoon/SLAM-ER weapon system, including ship integration, aircraft testing, software development, and the introduction of new missile variants. The government is pursuing this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 due to The Boeing Company's status as the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the Harpoon/SLAM-ER system.
There is no set-aside designation for this opportunity, and The Boeing Company is identified as the sole responsible source capable of meeting the government's requirements. The delivery orders are expected to be issued from November 2024 through January 2025, though the government makes no commitment to actually award a contract. The place of performance will be in St. Louis, Missouri, and the applicable NAICS code is 336414 (Guided Missile and Space Vehicle Manufacturing) under the 1410-P Product Service Code (Guided Missiles).
