About this opportunity
The District of Columbia Army National Guard (DCNG), operating under the Department of the Army National Guard, is soliciting competitive quotes for the procurement of six types of leadership coins as part of an awards program. The solicitation requires vendors to submit design proofs for each coin type for government review, with quotes evaluated on price alone using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial products. The coins will be classified under NAICS 339910 (Jewelry and Silverware Manufacturing) and PSC 9650 (Nonferrous Base Metal Refinery and Intermediate Forms). Key contract requirements include firm fixed pricing, a 30-calendar-day delivery schedule from the date of award, and compliance with Item Unique Identification (IUI) standards for applicable items using two-dimensional data matrix symbols. Past performance will be evaluated per the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS), and the government reserves the right to award without discussion. The solicitation was posted on March 5, 2026, and the offer due date is March 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST, with a 60-day quote acceptance period following closing.
This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside. The base requirement includes 600 units each of the JTF-DC coin, 260th Special Purpose Battalion coin, 33D Combat Support Team coin, and Capital Cohort Warrant Officer coin; 300 units of the Recruiting and Retention Battalion (RRB) coin; and 300 units of the DCNG Aviation coin. Optional line items offer the opportunity to supply 1,000 additional units each of five of the six coin designs. The coins feature varying dimensions, colors, and finishes tailored to each design specification outlined in the amended Statement of Objectives, ranging from approximately 2.5 inches to 3.5 inches in diameter or length. The place of performance is Washington, DC 20373, and all design concepts, technical specifications, and detailed requirements are provided in the attached Statement of Objectives and solicitation documents issued by the W84 Army Contracting Command, with contracting officer Kyle Hartleben located at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling.
