About this opportunity

The Defense Health Agency awarded a $777,384 firm fixed price task order to Science Applications International Corporation under the NASA SEWP V government-wide acquisition contract on August 6, 2026.

The task order covers a three-month period from July 1 through September 30, 2026. The award was made on a non-competitive, sole-source basis under 10 U.S.C. 3406(c) based on urgent mission-critical requirements. SAIC is the incumbent provider with unique knowledge of JOMIS cloud architecture and existing access to Common Access Cards and cloud infrastructure credentials necessary to support the mandatory migration of the Joint Medical Planning Tool, Medical Planning Toolkit, and Care Delivery Platform systems to the cloud by an Office of the Joint Staff Surgeon mandate of July 30, 2026. The justification cited unacceptable delays and security vulnerabilities that would result from competitive procurement and transition to a new vendor. A longer-term competitive procurement with an estimated award in first quarter fiscal year 2027 is concurrently underway to address future requirements competitively. The Defense Healthcare Management Systems Contracting Division approved the exception to fair opportunity.
