Notice text
The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) intends to provide engineering support and life cycle sustainment for the hardware, software and Integrated Warning Caution Advisory-Voice (IWCA-V) included as part of the Data Concentrator Unit (DCU, P/N 5443000-002), using a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost, and a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The anticipated contract will provide engineering support and life cycle sustainment for software, hardware as part of the DCU. The proposed source is SCI Technology, Inc. 13000 South Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, AL.,35803. The associated NAICS code is 334111.
The proposed contract action is for services and supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
All interested, capable, and responsible sources that would like to respond to this pre-solicitation synopsis are encouraged to provide a statement of interest along with supporting documentation via email, to Ms. Sylvia Booth, Contract Specialist (Sylvia.R.Booth.civ@mail.mil) no later than 20 September 2018.
