About this opportunity
The Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued a Special Notice for the maintenance of cockpit simulators at the Dallas Recurrent Training Center. While this notice is not a request for competitive proposals, the government will consider any information received to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the performance of cockpit simulators maintenance at the Dallas Recurrent Training Center.
Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a contract to Newton Design LLC. 26015 East Admiral PL Catoosa, Oklahoma 74015 United States. This contract will address the requirements of Preventative Maintenance needed for the B737 and B767 cockpit simulators used during FFDO Recurrent Training
The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
