About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 10 has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify companies that could provide a comprehensive web-based compounding documentation system. This system would support the documentation, training, and reporting requirements for sterile and non-sterile compounding at VISN 10 facilities, in order to meet regulatory standards set by USP, The Joint Commission, FDA, and the VA Office of Inspector General.

The purpose of this RFI is to collaborate with industry on structuring a future Request for Proposal (RFP) to ensure greater market awareness and participation by relevant and capable suppliers, address quality assurance and ability to meet technical requirements, and assess the availability of domestic small business suppliers. The RFI outlines various requirements for the system, such as managing staff activities, environmental controls, compounding records, quality assurance, training, customizable policies and procedures, and user access controls. Responses to the RFI are due by October 31, 2024 at 1:30 PM EST and should not include pricing information. The applicable NAICS code is 513210 - Software Publishers, with a small business size standard of $47.0 million.
