About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center is preparing to solicit Fast IDentity Online 2 (FIDO2) authentication solutions as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside on NASA SEWP V, with an RFI response deadline of July 31, 2026.
The procurement is for brand-name Yubico and Intercede solutions or equivalents to provide token-based multi-factor authentication and certificate management supporting 180 VA locations nationwide. Performance spans a base period from August 25, 2026 through August 24, 2027, with four optional 12-month renewals for a potential 60-month total. Base deliverables include one primary MyID PIV CMS virtual server, four backup servers, 1,000 MyID device subscriptions, 1,000 YubiKey-as-a-Service units with enterprise delivery services, and 160 hours of initial setup and support. Optional task items include up to 30,000 additional MyID device subscriptions and 18,000 additional YubiKey units exercisable at any time during performance.
The solution must integrate with VA's enterprise CyberArk platform, support physical USB tokens in on-premise, cloud-based, or hybrid environments, and—if SaaS-based—maintain FedRAMP authorization. Contractor personnel require background investigations commensurate with task risk levels. The contractor must establish a web-based token ordering system within 45 days of award and deliver physical tokens within 30 days of each government order.
