About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center has issued Special Notice DA01--iFAMS O&M Support (VA-26-00028951) to announce the acquisition strategy for operations and maintenance support services related to the integrated Financial and Administrative Management System (iFAMS). This notice, posted on February 24, 2026, informs interested parties that the Government has completed market research and determined the optimal approach for procuring these professional services. The acquisition will be conducted through the General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Financial Management Marketplace rather than through a traditional competitive solicitation. The subsequent solicitation number 36C10B26Q0168 will be issued to all existing GSA MAS FM QSMO contract holders under Category 518210FM, with posting expected within one week of this notice.
The primary objective of this acquisition strategy is to foster free and open competition while securing best value for the Government in compliance with Executive Order 14249. Interested contractors should note that responses to the initial RFI (36C10B26Q0099) are due by March 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time, and the formal solicitation will be available on the GSA eBuy platform. Eligible participants include small businesses—encompassing Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, and Historically Underutilized Business Zone concerns—as well as large businesses. The work falls under Professional Services (PSC code DA01) with NAICS classification 541519 (Other Professional Services). For additional information, contractors should contact Contract Specialist Angel Santos at Angel.Santos2@va.gov.
