About this opportunity

The Department of Transportation intends to award a sole-source modification to Deloitte under GSA Multiple Award Schedule contract 693JJ320A000013 for a two-month extension of cybersecurity management support services through October 31, 2026, with a firm fixed-price value of $612,452.35.

The extension is needed while DOT restructures its information technology workforce and determines whether cybersecurity support can be reduced or fully assumed by federal employees. The current order expires August 31, 2026. The justification cites economy and efficiency, based on Deloitte's established management and subject matter expertise in the DOT environment and demonstrated success improving the Department's cybersecurity posture and FISMA performance goals. Services include mission-essential cybersecurity operations, risk and vulnerability management, FISMA compliance and reporting, support for OMB and FISMA Directives, and operation and maintenance of DOT's cybersecurity tool stack including BigFix, Tenable, and Invicti to support the Continuous Diagnostic and Mitigation program. Services also encompass vulnerability management, scanning, compliance monitoring across the enterprise, and logging and log management support in accordance with OMB Memorandum 21-31 and Executive Order 14028. The modification is proposed under GSA Schedule rates determined fair and reasonable; no formal market research was conducted at the modification level given the original competitive award and continuity rationale.

Notice text

This Order currently expires on 08/31/2026 and this justification is issued to extend the current levels of support for an additional two (2) months (through 10/31/2026). See attached justification for detail.
