About this opportunity
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking contractor support for its Cybersecurity Counter Insider Threat (CInT) Operations program. The IRS has implemented critical CInT capabilities to mitigate risks to taxpayer information and is looking for small business vendors, including 8(a), HUBZone, veteran-owned, and women-owned firms, to provide technical cybersecurity monitoring, analysis, and response activities. Key requirements include developing custom User Behavior Analytics use cases, performing data analytics, and addressing findings from FISMA and CISA assessments to enhance continuous monitoring of High Value Asset (HVA) systems. The anticipated procurement will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods.
This opportunity is set aside for small businesses. The government has not identified any potential incumbents or provided details on the anticipated award value or budget. The Sources Sought response is due by June 3, 2024, and the government plans to use FAR Parts 8 or 16 procedures to acquire these CInT Ops support services.
