About this opportunity
The Department of the Army National Guard seeks a mobile, modular, height-adjustable maintenance platform to support daily maintenance of LUH-72A Lakota helicopters at the Delaware Army National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility, with solution briefs due August 25, 2026. This is a Total Small Business set-aside via Commercial Solutions Opening.
Place of performance is New Castle, Delaware. The platform must feature high-strength aluminum construction with a minimum 1,000-pound distributed load capacity for two persons, manual height adjustment with approximately 24 inches of vertical travel, non-slip work surface, corrosion-resistant finish with safety yellow powder-coated guardrails, heavy-duty 360-degree swivel casters with minimum 8-inch diameter and individual wheel brakes, rotating and extendable outriggers, and maximum assembly weight of 1,200 pounds. Platform dimensions are approximately 86 to 88 inches in length and 28 inches in width, with stowed dimensions not exceeding 100 inches long by 85 inches wide by 99 inches high. The solution must comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart D and the Buy American Act, and include technical manuals and assembly instructions.
The CSO follows a phased approach: Phase 1 (solution brief submission by August 25) addresses technical merit, pricing, delivery lead time, and supply chain vulnerabilities; Phase 2 allows optional negotiations by invitation; Phase 3 culminates in evaluation and award of a fixed-price purchase order with target award date of August 31, 2026; Phase 4 addresses post-award sustainment and warranty. Evaluation prioritizes technical merit regarding LUH-72A maintenance impact, company expertise and past performance, and pricing for both acquisition and life-cycle costs. Operation & Maintenance funds are available for award this fiscal year. NAICS 332312, PSC 4920.
