About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is issuing a pre-solicitation notice for the procurement of 14 units of CRYPTO ASSEMBLY LRM under NSN 7R-5895-015817875-E7. This falls under the IT and telecommunications category for analog voice products hardware and perpetual license software. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, though all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond within 45 days of publication (or 30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement). Interested parties can obtain relevant military specifications, standards, and other documents through the DoD Single Stock Point Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia or via the ASSIST-Online system. The due date for responses is November 9, 2025, with delivery terms specified as FOB Origin.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all responsible sources despite the government's stated intention to negotiate with a single source. The contract calls for exactly 14 units of the crypto assembly equipment, with delivery requirements based on FOB Origin terms. No specific award values or budget ranges are disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. While the government plans to use sole source procurement authority, the 45-day response window allows potential contractors to demonstrate their capabilities and interest in the requirement. The notice emphasizes that this is not a request for competitive proposals, but rather an opportunity for interested parties to make their capabilities known to the contracting agency.
