About this opportunity
The United States Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) C5ISR Research and Technology Integration (RTI) Directorate is seeking white papers for Cryogenic Magnetometer Integration under Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) W56KGU-23-R-RTID. This procurement focuses on developing novel RF sensing modalities, specifically a cryogenic pod prototype to protect magnetometer sensors from electromagnetic interference and temperature variations. Potential contractors must be Joint Certification Program (JCP) certified and capable of handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Technical questions are due by February 7, 2025, and white papers must be submitted by February 21, 2025, at 5:00 PM EDT. The evaluation will determine whether the future solicitation will be a full and open competition or set aside for specific small business designations.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates the government intends to award between one and three contracts with a 24-month period of performance. Total funding for this opportunity is estimated at $3.15 million, with individual contract awards ranging from $500,000 to the full amount. The anticipated award date is June 2025, though funding is subject to change based on government discretion and availability. There are no specific set-aside restrictions, and companies of all sizes may submit proposals. Contractors must demonstrate capability to integrate CMOSS (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) technology into legacy and emerging mission spaces, with a focus on rapid capability integration and lifecycle cost reduction.
