About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking 34 units of Cross Beam W/40MM replacement parts (NSN 1560-01-HS1-6052, Part Number 365A38-3023-25) for use on MH-65E aircraft through Request for Quotation (RFQ) 70Z03826QB0000223. This is a commercial items acquisition prepared under FAR subpart 12, with quotations due by February 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST. All parts must demonstrate clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Airbus Helicopters, France (CAGE Code F0210), with complete documented audit trails from OEM-approved sources to ensure Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) compliance and flight safety. Evaluation will be based solely on fair and reasonable pricing determination given the sole-source nature of the acquisition, with the award anticipated as a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Airbus Helicopters, Inc. (AHI). While all responsible sources are invited to submit quotations, the government believes AHI is the only known source capable of providing genuine OEM parts with required traceability documentation, as confirmed through market research conducted from September through December 2025.

This solicitation contains no small business set-aside. Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is the anticipated sole-source awardee and the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the MH-65E aircraft supplies being procured. The estimated contract value is redacted in available documents, with funding allocated under OB3A: Reconciliation-SRR-ICP for Fiscal Year 2026. Delivery is required by December 31, 2026, with all shipments designated as F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Offerors must maintain prices firm for 120 calendar days from the receipt of offers date and comply with stringent quality assurance requirements, including submission of Certificates of Conformance and immediate notification of any supply, material, or quality changes that could affect airworthiness.
