About this opportunity
This pre-solicitation notice is for the rehabilitation of the Steel Visitor Center located in the Munson Valley administration area of a national park. The National Park Service seeks to replace temporary shoring of the first floor ceiling with a permanent solution, address structural deficiencies throughout the nearly 7,216 square foot two-story building, and provide code and sustainability upgrades. Proposals will be evaluated based on the offeror's technical qualifications, past performance, and price to complete the structural work, systems replacements, roof repairs, code compliance upgrades, and energy improvements. The due date for proposals is March 31, 2021.
There is no set-aside designated for this opportunity. The primary NAICS code is 238210 and PSC code S206. As the incumbent, the current contractor may pursue this follow-on work. The pre-solicitation notice does not provide an estimated value, but the scope of structural repairs and full building rehabilitation indicates it will likely be a sizable award. Site work will involve utility and system replacements around the building perimeter.
