The contractor must provide a 40-ton rough terrain crane with English-speaking operators and riggers for loading, unloading, and moving equipment on and off rail cars and flatbed trailers during two scheduled periods: January 26 to February 5, 2026, and February 26 to March 4, 2026, plus unscheduled services for up to five additional days. The Performance Work Statement requires the contractor to maintain all equipment, provide fuel, transport the crane, ensure operator qualifications and licensing, and comply with all applicable safety regulations. This solicitation is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, limiting competition to small business concerns. No incumbent contractor or current award value is identified in the available documentation. The contract encompasses three Contract Line Item Numbers for scheduled crane services during two separate periods in January through March 2026, with an additional line item for unscheduled services not to exceed five days of usage. Services will be performed at Fort Wainwright's Railhead location, situated 4.7 miles from the Fort Wainwright Main Gate, and in the immediate vicinity of 2400 Montgomery Road in Fairbanks, Alaska 99703.
