Added: Mar 19, 2015 4:28 pm
This amendment addresses questions from interested offerors.
Question: Can we use a propane gas type fork lift in the rooms where the cranes need to be upgraded? We are going to have to weld the end trucks to the cranes, is it okay to weld in those rooms?
Answer: A propane gas type fork lift can be used in the rooms where the cranes needs to be upgraded if it is equipped with a OSHA approved Scrubber attachment on the exhaust. The contractor will need to submit the weight and load they attend to use. Weld can be performed in the work area after a Burn Permit is posted and the contractor assures BEP that they will protect floor covering.
Question: What hours could the technicians work on-site?
Answer: Between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm
