The Corvallis EF Freezer Replacement and Disposal project consists of the following:
A. The Contractor shall temporarily disconnect the service wiring to the Refrigerator located at Location 229 in the West Wing. The Contractor shall also remove the existing Refrigerator located at Location 229 measuring (WxDxH) 10'5" x 10'10" x 9' and recycle all components according to Oregon State Law and EPA requirements. The Compressor and the Evaporator will be left at the Corvallis Forestry Sciences Lab. Leave the existing 120 volt wiring in place to connect to the new Freezer at installation.
B. The Contractor shall provide one Air Cooled Freezer measuring approximately (WxDxH) 10' 5" x 10' 10" x 9' made of Galvanized steel skins inside and out, with a smooth aluminum floor finish. There will be a minimum insulation of 5.5" thick on the walls, ceiling and floor, with no-loss R-Value type foam insulation (Urethane or approved equal) and an overall minimum R-Value of 46. The Heated Door of the Freezer will be approximately 38"x81" with hinged self-closing access door with heated pressure relief vent, light fixture, light switch and thermometer. The direct electrical hook-up (Re-use the existing wiring for the new Freezer) for the interior of the unit will be 120 volt for the light switch, door heater, digital thermometer, and heated pressure relief vent. The Contractor shall connect to the drain located in the hallway next to the Freezer unit and insulate with heat tape the drain line for the Evaporator unit inside the Freezer including ¾" insulation I.D. over the heat tape.
C. The Contractor shall install the Condensing Unit in the nearest Core part of Central Wing. The Condensing Unit shall be able to operate at a minimum temperature of 10 degrees F. The Condensing Unit will operate on 3 Phase power utilizing a Low Temp, R-410A or approved equal, PSC Motor, Sight Glass, Drier, Defrost Timer and Pressure Control and Crankcase heater. Install the Electric Defrost Evaporator Coil according to Manufacturers specifications and use the existing 120 volt wiring.
The allotted time for this contract is 30 days.

The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 - $100,000. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns under NAICS Code 335222.
