About this opportunity
The Naval Air Warfare Center Air Division is seeking to procure four SLEAC (corrosion testing) channels to expand existing SLEAC systems, with each channel including a load frame with load cell and displacement sensor, protective enclosure for aggressive environments, and data acquisition system. The government intends to award this procurement on a sole source basis to Luna Labs USA under a firm fixed-price contract structure, utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13 authority. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and provide a letter of authorization demonstrating they are an authorized reseller for Luna Labs USA. All items must be Trade Agreements Act compliant and brand new, with quotes evaluated solely on the technical information provided by the offeror. The submission deadline is 9:00 A.M. EST on September 25, 2025, with all quotes to be submitted via email to Kimberly Silvernagel at the specified government email address.
This solicitation is designated as an 8(a) sole source procurement, with Luna Labs USA identified as the intended sole source contractor for the Acuity LS Corrosion Sensor equipment. While no specific award value is mentioned in the available documentation, the procurement involves four complete SLEAC channel systems for the Materials Protection Technology Branch. The delivery timeline is established at 90 calendar days from the date of award, with performance to occur at the Naval Air Warfare Center Air Division South Engineering Center located in Patuxent River, Maryland. The procurement falls under fiscal year 2025 designation and is categorized under Organization AB23, indicating this is an expansion of existing corrosion testing capabilities rather than a new system installation.
