The pre-solicitation notice seeks qualified sources capable of providing on-site coolant maintenance across six buildings within the Controlled Industrial Area, with a focus on maintaining specific coolant concentration levels and performing regular monitoring and laboratory analysis. Interested companies are required to submit a 10-page capabilities statement as a PDF email attachment to roshanda.l.sansom.civ@us.navy.mil by February 27, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST. The evaluation will assess companies' abilities to perform 100% of the required tasks, with particular attention to technical capabilities and any anticipated subcontracting arrangements. Respondents must provide key company information including name, address, CAGE code, DUNS number, and point of contact details.
The contract opportunity is classified under NAICS code 811310 for Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance and is open to both large and small businesses. The performance work statement requires the successful contractor to maintain coolant concentration levels between 5-7% for non-nuclear machinery and 10% for nuclear machinery, with responsibilities including weekly monitoring, bi-weekly laboratory analysis, tramp oil removal, and waste disposal. The contractor must use HOCUT 795 coolant or an equivalent product and be prepared to provide a minimum of 500 gallons of premixed coolant for emergent use. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, reflecting its market research nature.
