About this opportunity
This Special Notice announces the Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command's intent to modify an existing contract for construction site surveillance and security services in Naples, Italy. The contract holder, Singularity Security Group LLC, will provide additional construction surveillance technicians and cleared American guards from June 1, 2023 through February 29, 2024 to support changes to the construction and renovation project.
The estimated value of the contract modification is $1.8 million. As the specialized services are needed for a short duration in an overseas location with a short turnaround time, the Notice cites authority under the Federal Acquisition Regulation to solicit from a single source due to continuity of management needs for personnel accreditation. Responsible sources may submit capability statements or proposals by the Notice's deadline to be considered for these specialized security services. Eligibility is open to all contractors able to meet the requirements for the Naples, Italy performance period.
Notice text
The Government intends to modify contract N6817122P0181 to include additional construction surveillance technicians and cleared American guards for the period of 01 June 2023 through 29 February 2024 as a result of changes to the supported construction and renovation project. The place of performance is Naples, Italy and the contractor is Singularity Security Group LLC. The estimated value of the action is approximately $1.8 million. The Government intends to solicit from only a single source pursuant to the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). The labor categories are within the scope of the basic contract. The short duration of these specialized services in an overseas location, the short turn-around time, and the continuity of management for personnel accreditation necessitate contracting with a single source. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
