The purpose of this Synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential small businesses.167th AW, Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport, Martinsburg, WV, Air National Guard Base anticipates the solicitation and award of a construction contract to Renovate Building 140 for AGE. This solicitation W912L8-12-B-0003, Renovate Bldg. # 140 for AGE is a small business Set-Aside concerns IAW FAR 16.203(a). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238390 Other Building Finishing Contractors and the small business size standard is $14.0 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. The Disclosure of Magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, IAW FAR 36.204(f). The entire solicitation will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 7 August 2012. The tentative date for the pre-bid conference and site visit is be on or about 15 August 2012, 09:30 am local time, location will be in the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. All questions for the Pre-Bid must be submitted by noon on 13 August 2012 via e-mail. (Preferred to tresa.staubs@ang.af.mil and kris.rata@ang.af.mil. The bid opening date is scheduled for on-or about 5 September 2012. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation.
Interested offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Firms can register via the CCR internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the CCR Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. Interested offerors are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn.gov. You will need your DUNS number and CCR MPIN in order to log in to the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website. The solicitation and associated information and the plans and specifications will be available the plans and specifications will be available only from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website on-line at https://www.fbo.gov/ . FedBizOpps is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Interested bidders/offerors must register with FedBizOpps before accessing the system.
