About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Sam Houston awarded a $138,203,866.80 contract to Deployed Resources LLC for comprehensive support services at the El Paso Soft Sided Facility (SSF), a temporary processing center for non-U.S. citizens. The contract was awarded as a sole-source action under FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(A) following the urgent transfer of requirements from the Department of Homeland Security, with a 30-day base period and five potential 30-day option periods. The contract covers critical support services including processing, holding, meal services, janitorial support, caregiving, infrastructure maintenance, and operational support, which were deemed essential to maintain uninterrupted facility operations. The award was executed on March 29, 2025, within 48 hours of the requirement transfer, and follows a previously competitively awarded task order from December 2022.
