About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has issued a Limited / Sole Source Justification Notice for a modification to the Communications Technical Support Services (CTSS III) contract, extending the ordering period for contract HC1028-15-D-0007 from September 10, 2023 to September 8, 2025. The contract supports critical communications services for over 10,000 joint services military and coalition forces across Southwest Asia, including locations in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. Global Defense Information Technology (GDIT) is identified as the sole source contractor, providing comprehensive communications support including telephone switch operations, satellite communications, network administration, radio operations, cable support, communications planning, and video teleconference services. This bridge modification maintains continuity of services while the Air Force prepares to re-solicit the CTSS V contract, with market research already completed and proposals currently under evaluation. The justification enables uninterrupted mission-critical communication capabilities for U.S. Air Force personnel in the region, though specific contract ceiling increases were not fully disclosed in the available documentation.
