About this opportunity
The Department of the Army's Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires has issued a Request for Information (RFI) seeking industry capability statements for the Common Autonomous Multi-Domain Launcher (CAML) Munitions Pallet program. This Special Notice, posted on December 1, 2025, invites qualified contractors to demonstrate their technical expertise and capacity to develop and produce a munitions pallet for the CAML system. The RFI represents an early-stage market research effort designed to identify potential sources and inform the government's acquisition strategy for future phases of the CAML program. The opportunity is open to U.S. companies with relevant experience in missile development and manufacturing.
Interested contractors must submit an eight-page capability statement by December 15, 2025, at noon central time, detailing their company capabilities, production capacity, missile development experience, and optional field demonstration solutions. The government seeks a munitions pallet weighing 60,000 lbs or less that can perform electrical erection and un-erection, missile angle positioning, command and control launch missions, and environmental conditioning, with delivery expected within 12 months of contract award and a live-fire field demonstration planned between the third and fourth quarters of fiscal year 2026. Eligible participants include U.S.-based companies, with the government particularly encouraging non-traditional participants and those offering commercial or near-commercial solutions. The Department of the Army will conduct an industry day on January 21-22, 2026, to further communicate objectives and identify potential partners, and submissions indicate agreement that Contractor Support Personnel may be used to assess responses.
