About this opportunity

The Department of the Army issued a Request for Solutions Brief for the Common Autonomous Multi-Domain Launcher (CAML)-Lite prototype effort under Other Transaction Authority with Solutions Briefs due October 23, 2026 at 1600 CT. Only U.S.-based entities holding SECRET facility clearance are eligible. The Government will evaluate submissions and issue a Request for Prototype Proposal to selected respondents by November 6, 2026, with Phase 1 Other Transaction Agreements anticipated by December 18, 2026.

Phase 1 requires a live-fire demonstration at Talisman Sabre 2027 in August 2027 (or approved alternative by September 30, 2027) and a priced Prototype Acquisition Option for tiered unit quantities (1–6), New Equipment Training, and Contractor Logistics Support. Proposed systems must include one or more complete integrated prototypes with mobility, launcher, and munition reload capability; evidence of live munition firing capability; and commitment to the August 2027 demonstration or approved alternative. The Government will fund demonstration at award in two fixed-price installments, but performer investment is required and must be documented in accounting records subject to Government verification.

Solutions Briefs must not exceed 15 one-sided pages (single-spaced, 12-point font, searchable PDF, 10 MB maximum) and must include a Rough Order of Magnitude separating Phase 1 demonstration costs, performer investment, and Government funding, along with estimated tiered unit pricing, delivery lead times, NET pricing per iteration, CLS pricing per support period, and Phase 2 maturation cost estimates. Evaluation factors include technical merit, maturity and delivery readiness, integration and modularity, qualifications and execution capacity, and affordability. The Government requires Unlimited Rights in interface definitions and operations/maintenance/installation/training data, and Government Purpose Rights in technical data enabling future competition.
