About this opportunity
This notice solicits proposals to provide engineering services and research and development to support the Warfighter Engineering Branch of the Construction Engineering Research Laboratory at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center. Proposals shall address areas including autonomous terrain mapping and machine control for heavy equipment, additive construction techniques, and collaborative multi-platform technologies. Proposals shall be submitted through the ERDCWERX portal between July 27, 2022 and July 31, 2023 and will be evaluated based on the solutions presented to support the Army's engineering research efforts.
There is no set-aside designated. Research will focus on NAICS codes for engineering services and R&D in physical and engineering sciences, with potential PSC codes for R&D facilities and construction services. Solutions may address challenges such as autonomous terrain mapping and characterization, machine control for heavy equipment, additive construction techniques and collaborative multi-platform technologies. Proposals will be accepted through July 31, 2023 to support engineering research at ERDC facilities on an ongoing basis over the next year.
