About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command, through the 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis AFB, California, is seeking to upgrade the Command Post AtHoc Integration system for the Giant Voice Mass Notification System. The project involves transitioning from a Federal Signal SS2000 siren encoder to a radio directly connected to a computer with a Minimum Shift Keying (MSK) modem, converting the system from a Federal Signal Type I integration to a Type II integration that allows data to flow from AtHoc to Commander Software. All equipment is government-furnished except for interconnecting wiring, and the contractor must provide 24/7 on-call technical support with a one-year warranty on new equipment. Vendors must submit a capabilities package demonstrating their ability to perform the required services, including business details such as name, address, CAGE Code, and DUNS Number. The response deadline is July 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM Pacific Time, with submissions required via email to specified Air Force contacts.

This procurement opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, targeting various small business categories including Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms, Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and Woman-Owned Small Businesses. The sources sought document does not identify any current incumbents or potential contractors for this work. No specific award values or budget ranges are disclosed in the available documentation, as this is an informational sources sought notice rather than a formal Request for Quote. The timeline for service delivery is not specified in the current documentation, though the system upgrade must integrate with the existing Giant Voice System infrastructure. This blackberry-certified solution represents a technical modernization effort to enhance the command post's mass notification capabilities through improved IP integration methods.

Notice text
