About this opportunity
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Newport, Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command, is seeking a follow-on contract for Advanced Instrumentation Systems Technology (AIST) services through SeaPort-NxG. The procurement will focus on project management, financial, technical, and administrative support services for the AIST program, with a requirement for a minimum of two key personnel covering four specific domain areas: TSPI, Advanced Sensors, Advanced Energy and Power Systems, and Microtechnology. Contractors must possess a secret clearance and be prepared to work in a 50/50 government/contractor site environment. The anticipated Request for Proposal (RFP) is expected to be released in fiscal year 2025, second quarter, with potential bidders required to register for an Industry Day event by January 20, 2025. The virtual Industry Day, scheduled for January 22, 2025, will provide detailed information about the upcoming solicitation and allow potential contractors to submit preliminary questions.
The contract will be an unrestricted procurement with an estimated period of performance from September 30, 2025, to September 29, 2030. The total estimated contract value includes approximately 19,200 hours of work and $494,518.15 in other direct costs (ODCs). Contract types will include both Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) components. The procurement is a direct follow-on to the previous contract N00178-19-D-8361/N66604-20-F-3009, supporting Department of Defense test technology gaps in weapon systems testing across various facilities. The contract will involve tasks such as program management support, technical assessments, financial tracking, and meeting support, with work to be conducted at both government and contractor sites. No specific set-aside designations are mentioned, indicating the procurement is open to all qualified contractors.
