About this opportunity

The Department of State's US Embassy Bogota seeks quotations for CMR Lift Interior renovation work, with quotations due September 9, 2026 and questions due September 1, 2026 at 4:00 PM. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 28, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with registration required by August 25, 2026.

Place of performance is Bogotá, Colombia. The procurement uses no set-aside. NAICS code 236118 (Residential Remodelers) and PSC Z2FA (Repair or Alteration of Family Housing Facilities) apply. The solicitation number is 19C02026Q0033, issued by Contracting Officer Jack Parker.

Scope includes heater cover installation (17 m measurement), polish and lacquer to existing hardwood flooring on the second floor with no replacement, stair landing substrate preparation for fire-rated commercial carpet installation, and library door relocation dimensions to be finalized after the lift contractor completes demolition work. Both the CMR Lift and interior renovation contracts will run in parallel with potential schedule pauses if dependencies delay progress. Mandatory security background review for contractor personnel executes before Notice to Proceed, with personnel authorization required before on-site work commences.

Award will be made to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price, based on initial proposals without discussions unless competitive range companies warrant discussions. Quotations must be submitted electronically to BogotaGSOCompras@state.gov in MS-Word 2007/2010, MS-Excel 2007/2010, or Adobe Acrobat PDF format, not exceeding 30 MB per submission. Offerors must include completed SF-1442 forms, Section A (Pricing), Section L (Representations and Certifications), and proof of current SAM registration at sam.gov. Quotations in languages other than English or incomplete submissions will not be accepted. Loss of SAM registration at proposal submission renders the quotation non-responsible.
