About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa is seeking four CMBRE Power Supply units, Model 360LSXM/M23004, through solicitation FA560625QA047. These 6.0kVA, Three Phase, Solid State AC Power Sources will be used at Spangdahlem Air Base to test munitions assets with the AN/GYQ-79A (CMBRE) system, requiring three phase 400 Hz, 115 volts AC electrical power that complies with MIL-T-28800 or DOD-STD-1339/300 standards. Each power source must include specific modifications such as a FSL4-FR type female receptacle installation, soft start circuitry, custom firmware for AC output voltage control, and delivery in a double-lid composite transit case with slide rails. The procurement will be conducted as a Request for Quote (RFQ) with evaluation based on price and technical capability, with the government intending to award to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quote. The solicitation was issued on August 14, 2025, with responses due by September 15, 2025, at 0800 AM Central European Summer Time.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designation and the government currently has three ASX Pacific Power Supply 400 Hz converters at the facility, with ACC providing replacement models in January 2025 as the existing ASX models have been discontinued. The place of performance is Spangdahlem Air Base in Spangdahlem-Gelsdorf, Germany. The solicitation notably indicates that funds are currently not available for this effort, and the government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation. The power sources represent a replacement for the discontinued Model 360ASX-UPC3/M99074 and must convert three phase, 208V, 60 Hz power into MIL-STD-704E nominal value of 3 phase 115VL-N, 400Hz power. The procurement falls under NAICS code 423610 for Electrical Apparatus and Equipment, Wiring Supplies, and Related Equipment Merchant Wholesalers.
