About this file
This document is a Salient Characteristics, Contract Requests form detailing a specific power source for military applications. The document describes a 6.0kVA, Three Phase, Solid State AC Power Source (Model Number: 360LSXM/M23004) for use at the MSA's AN/GYQ-79A (CMBRE) munitions asset testing facility. The power source must comply with MIL-T-28800 or DOD-STD-1339/300 standards, with a specifications requirement of 400 Hz, 115 volts, three-phase AC electrical power.
The replacement power source includes several specific installation and functional requirements: it installs a FSL4-FR type female receptacle in a junction box, includes a "Soft Start" slow turn on circuit, provides custom firmware for AC Output Voltage control, and comes assembled in a double-lid composite transit case with slide rails. The input power cable terminates with a Hubbell Bryant model 72130NP. Currently, the facility has 3 ASX Pacific Power Supply 400 Hz converters, with ACC providing replacement models in January 2025 as the existing ASX models have been discontinued.

Salient Characteristics, Contract Requests Description including: Salient characteristics (i.e., physical, functional, or performance characteristics of items) desired.
BE AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE IN YOUR DESCRIPTION!
Text1: At the MSA, the AN/GYQ-79A (CMBRE) is used to test munitions assets. It requires three phase 400 Hz, 115 volts, AC electrical power that complies with either MIL-T-28800 or DOD-STD-1339/300. Historically, this power was provided by Aircraft Generators. In 2018 a HAF Call was released no longer allowing Aircraft Generator use and instead directing Facility Power or MEP usage. Our unit currently has 3 of the ASX Pacific Power Supply 400 Hz converters. In January of 2025, on the 2024 4Q World Wide Ammo Report, ACC provided replacement models for the ASX as they have been discontinued.
Model Number: 360LSXM/M23004
Item Description:
- 6.0kVA, Three Phase, Solid State AC Power Source with Limited Feature Set (RS232, GPIB) Vin: 208VAC, Three Phase, 47-63Hz Vout: 0-115/200V, 3 Phase, 400Hz as per Modification Note: The USB, LAN/LXI, SD Card, and Video Output functions are removed/disabled.
Replacement for Model 360ASX-UPC3/M99074. - Specifications I.A.W.
Catalog #LSX Series catalog and M23004 converts the power source into a fully integrated, turn-key AC power system that converts three phase, 208V, 60 Hz power into the MIL-STD-704E nominal value of 3 phase 115VL-N, 400Hz. Additionally, M23004
1) Installs a FSL4-FR type female receptacle in a junction box mounted on the power source rear panel.
2) Installs a ''Soft Start'' slow turn on circuit to limit inrush current.
3) provides custom firmware to control AC Output Voltage.
4) Install the complete assembly in a double-lid composite transit case with slide rails.
5) Input power cable for the power source is terminate with a Hubbel Bryant model 72130NP
