About this opportunity
NASA's Shared Services Center (NSSC) intends to award a sole-source contract for Cloud and Precipitation Algorithm Support to the University of Wisconsin System under FAR 12.102(a), and it is requesting written capability statements by 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on November 2, 2026. The notice states that no set-aside is used and that the Government has determined the University of Wisconsin System is the sole provider of the required effort. NSSC is the procuring center, and performance will occur at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).
Capability statements will be evaluated solely to determine whether the procurement will be conducted competitively, and the Government retains sole discretion over that decision. Respondents must reference the notice ID. Oral communications are not acceptable, and quotes will not be considered or evaluated by NASA's Technical End User Team. Submissions go to Primary Point of Contact Cody Guidry, Procurement Specialist II, at Cody.d.guidry@nasa.gov. NASA FAR Supplement clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, applies.

Its four deliverables cover compute resources with satellite data repository access, geostationary retrieval algorithm support, custom CONUS statistical aggregations focused on known seeding locations, and high-resolution L1B and L2 imagery for NASA Worldview. The procurement is classified under NAICS 611310 and PSC R425.
