The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is seeking to procure a five-day, minimum 40-hour training course on low visibility Close Target Reconnaissance (CTR) operations involving radiological and nuclear materials. The training will be provided to 10 personnel and will culminate in a Full Mission Profile. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed price, lowest price technically acceptable basis. The training must be conducted at a site within a 1-hour drive of a CONUS U.S. Military installation. Proposals are due by June 10, 2024 at 0900 EDT, and the anticipated award date is in FY24.
This procurement is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 611699. The size standard for this NAICS code is $16.5M. The contract will include a 12-month base period with four 12-month option years, with the potential for up to two training sessions per year. The government will provide radiological search equipment and sources, while the contractor must provide qualified instructors and the training location.

The course will be tailored to fit specific mission requirements associated with the TSG mission. The training will be provided to 10 personnel and will culminate with a Full Mission Profile (FMP).
