About this opportunity
The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), a federal health sciences university, has issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to negotiate sole source contracts with eight professional organizations for annual accreditations and memberships. The notice covers organizations such as the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), and Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), among others. The Special Notice is classified under the Professional Organizations NAICS category and was posted on May 23, 2025, with a response deadline of June 6, 2025.
The primary objective of this Special Notice is to improve small business access to acquisition information and enhance competition by identifying potential contracting opportunities. Interested contractors are invited to submit responses demonstrating that competition would be advantageous to the government, not cost or time prohibitive, and that they can meet USUHS's specific requirements. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that will be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Contractors must email their responses to shea.foster@usuhs.edu by 3:00 PM Eastern Time on June 6, 2025, and are responsible for appropriately marking any proprietary information. The government emphasizes that the determination not to compete these proposed contract actions is solely within its discretion. The intended contract period covers annual memberships and accreditations from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2029, with each organization providing unique services that cannot be easily replicated by alternative sources.
