About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) for annual university accreditations and organizational memberships. USU intends to award sole source contracts to eight professional organizations from 01 January 2025 through 31 December 2029, including the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Program (AAHRPP), Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), and others. These memberships are critical for maintaining USU's educational program accreditations and supporting its mission of providing high-quality health sciences education to uniformed services professionals.
The notice invites potential alternative sources to submit responses demonstrating that competition would be advantageous to the government, not cost or time prohibitive, and that they can meet USU's requirements. Interested parties must submit responses via email to shea.foster@usuhs.edu by 3:00 PM EST on 06 June 2025. The government will review submissions to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement, with the understanding that these specific organizations currently provide unique accreditation and membership services that cannot be easily replicated.
