The contractor must purchase the door directly from GSA Global Supply, ensure it bears the required "GSA Approved Armory Vault Door" label, and handle all installation work which may include wall extensions, welding, or concrete modifications. While specific evaluation criteria are not detailed in the available documents, contractors must comply with numerous federal acquisition regulations including cybersecurity requirements, small business representations, and various labor standards. The solicitation was posted on September 11, 2025, with responses due by September 22, 2025, providing a tight 11-day response window.

No incumbent contractors or specific award values are mentioned in the available documentation. The contractor will have a performance period of no later than 16 weeks after award to complete the entire project, including removal of the existing door, procurement of the new GSA-approved unit, and full installation with any necessary structural modifications. The place of performance is Columbus, Mississippi, specifically at the Air Force installation housing Building 926.
