About this opportunity

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has awarded a sole-source contract to TEGRIA SERVICES GROUP - US INC for ClaimsCore Enterprise Program Management Office support services, with a total projected cost of $7.246 million under FAR 6.103-1.

CMS determined that Tegria is the only capable source based on its unmatched concentration of former TriZetto/Cognizant senior leaders with deep Facets platform expertise, C-suite level vendor executive availability, dual-platform technical capability, and integrated team structure. The ClaimsCore initiative is a large-scale modernization effort to replace Medicare Fee-for-Service legacy Shared Systems and the Common Working File with a secure, near-real-time Commercial Off-the-Shelf platform. Tegria will deliver integrated, vendor-neutral, and evidence-based support services including Technical PMO Leadership, Executive Advisory services, Enterprise Architecture guidance, Dual-Platform Support for Balanced Facets and HealthEdge, and Integration & Readiness services.

The contract is Firm-Fixed Price with a 12-month base period (September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027), a 3-month option period (September 1 – November 28, 2027), and a 12-month option period (November 29, 2027 – November 28, 2028), totaling 27 months. Place of performance is Madison, Wisconsin. This justification was posted September 16, 2026, and CMS will publish the J&A on SAM.gov with a minimum 14-day public comment period to allow other responsible sources to submit capability statements for consideration.

CMS requires enterprise program management office (ePMO) support services for the ClaimsCore initiative, a large-scale modernization effort to replace Medicare Fee-for-Service (FFS) legacy Shared Systems and the Common Working File (CWF) with a secure, near-real-time, Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) platform.

This is not an active opportunity and is instead a required posted of an approved LSJ after task order award.

Awarded contract 75FCMC26C0028 to unknown vendor for unknown amount on 2026-09-15.
