About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure circuit card assemblies for repair and modification, specifically targeting National Stock Number 7H-5998-012592783-GL with a quantity of 5 units. The government intends to negotiate with a single source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, indicating a potential sole-source procurement. Interested parties may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements within 45 days of the publication date (by June 19, 2025). Qualification requirements will be a critical evaluation criterion, with award contingent upon the offeror, product/service, and manufacturer meeting specific standards. Additional documentation and specifications can be obtained through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) at Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia, PA.
This pre-solicitation notice does not have a specific set-aside designation and does not identify incumbent contractors. The procurement is for a technical delivery with FOB origin requirements, and the government has determined that competitive procurement is challenging due to data and specification limitations. While the exact award value is not specified, the contract involves five electronic assemblies in the Electrical and Electronic Assemblies category (PSC 5998). The solicitation is subject to potential Free Trade Agreements and Buy American Act provisions, as indicated by potential DFARS clauses 252.225-7036 and 252.225-7021. Contractors interested in providing commercial items must identify their capabilities to the contracting officer within 15 days of the notice.
