About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure circuit card assemblies for repair and modification, specifically National Stock Number 7H-5998-013892843. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, indicating a potential sole-source procurement. Interested parties have 45 days from the publication date (with a due date of June 6, 2025) to identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The government will consider all proposals received during this period, though a competitive procurement is not guaranteed. Evaluation will primarily focus on contractors' ability to provide the specified circuit card assembly and meet technical data package requirements.
This pre-solicitation notice involves 10 units to be delivered FOB origin, with no specific set-aside designations applied. The government has determined it is uneconomical to purchase data rights or reverse engineer the part, which may limit potential bidders. Technical documentation and specifications can be obtained through the DoD Single Stock Point at Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia, PA, with most documents available in Adobe PDF format via ASSIST-Online. The acquisition is subject to potential Free Trade Agreements and Buy American Act provisions, as indicated by potential DFARS clauses 252.225-7036 and 252.225-7021. The procurement falls under Product Service Code 5998 for Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Boards, Cards, and Associated Hardware.
