About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is procuring circuit card assemblies for repair and modification services under NSN 7H-5895-015334188-GL. The requirement involves 70 units of circuit card assembly part number 900-42215 to be delivered to DLA Distribution in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. This procurement is being conducted under FAR 6.302-1 as a sole source acquisition, as the government does not own the technical data package rights needed to purchase or repair these parts from additional sources, and reverse engineering is deemed uneconomical. The agency notes that all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement within 45 days of the notice posting. Military specifications and standards can be obtained through the DoD Single Stock Point, with most documents available online through ASSIST-Online or by contacting the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside with a response deadline of August 22, 2025, providing interested small businesses approximately five and a half months to prepare their submissions from the March 2, 2025 posting date. The procurement involves exactly 70 units of the specified circuit card assembly components. No specific contract value or budget range is disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, nor are any incumbent contractors or current service providers identified. The technical data package version 005 is referenced, indicating this is an established item with documented specifications. The procurement falls under the IT and Telecom category for analog voice products hardware, suggesting these circuit card assemblies are likely components for communications or electronic systems.
