About this opportunity
The Kentucky Army National Guard (NGKY) is seeking a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Military Laundry Services for the Central Issue Facility (CIF) at the Boone Center National Guard (BNGC). This solicitation is designed to establish a non-binding agreement for laundering military clothing and equipment, primarily for soldiers returning from deployments or discharging from the Kentucky National Guard. The BPA will require vendors to provide per-item pricing for laundry services, with the United States Property and Fiscal Office managing the agreement. Proposals are due by December 18, 2024, and vendors must submit a completed price list as part of their initial quote. The solicitation allows for either party to terminate the agreement with 30 days' notice, and prices must be established before any orders can be placed.
The opportunity is set aside for total small business participation and will be performed in Frankfort, Kentucky. The incumbent contractor is Fred's 2 the Rescue, currently operating under contract #W912KZ21P0002 P00003 with a contract value of $31,378.25. The average monthly invoice is estimated at $630.35, with 4-5 service requests anticipated per month. Payments will be handled via government purchase card for amounts under $2,500, while amounts over $2,500 will require a modification and delivery order signed by the Contracting Officer. The NAICS code for this opportunity is 81232 (Drycleaning and Laundry Services), and the solicitation falls under Product Service Code S209 for Housekeeping Laundry/Drycleaning services. Vendors will need to provide itemized lists of laundry items before pickup, with pricing to be determined on a per-item basis.
