Description
(v) NCATS seeks to purchase one (1) chemical library of 2,500 - 2,600 small molecule compounds that are distributed across specified chemical scaffolds* or chemotypes. This chemical library is needed for NCATS' Genesis screening libraries. Adding diversity to chemical libraries is imperative to NCATS' operation as it screens a variety of targets against these in-house collections.
The requirements of this chemical library include:
1. The library must contain at least 2,500 and no more than 2,600 compounds.
2. All scaffolds* must be represented in the compound library.
3. Each compound must be unique and contain one of the required scaffolds.
4. Each compound must be provided at 2mg quantity.
5. Each compound must have a purity of >90% (accuracy +/-5%) that is to be confirmed by NMR and/or LCMS spectra.
6. Each compound must be provided in 2D barcoded Micronic tubes as 2mg of dry film in each tube.
7. The compound library must conform to drug-like parameters such as distribution of molecular weight, solubility, lipophilicity, hydrogen bond donors and acceptors.
8. The compounds must be replenishable. They must be available for resupply or resynthesis if needed for NCATS follow up in the future.
9. The contractor must also provide all of the following information electronically for each required molecule, referencing individual compound vial barcodes:
• chemical structure or simplified molecular-input line-entry system (SMILES) or equivalent chemical structure information
• supplier ID
• plate ID
• well location
• tube ID
* See the attached list of specific scaffolds
(vi) Delivery is to occur within 12 weeks after receipt of order. Delivery shall be made to the below address with FOB Destination. A specific point of contact will be indicated on the purchase order.
