About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is procuring gun chargers through this solicitation, falling under the Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing category. The procurement requires compliance with various federal acquisition regulations including Buy American requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and military packaging standards. Offerors must specify any exceptions to requirements such as MIL-STD packaging, labeling, and inspection locations in their quotes, and any post-award changes will result in cost deductions from unit prices. Non-manufacturing offerors must identify the actual manufacturer with name and CAGE code and provide traceability documentation upon request. The solicitation was posted on June 4, 2024, with responses due by September 30, 2025, and includes contact information for Derek Ford at the Navy contracting office.

This solicitation does not utilize any set-aside designation and is open to all qualified contractors. An amendment has increased the total requirement quantity from 5 units to 10 units, with all other terms and conditions remaining unchanged. The procurement follows fixed-price inspection requirements and includes priority rating provisions for national defense purposes under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System. Shipping costs should not be included in quotes as transportation assistance will be provided in accordance with specified Navy terms. Payment will be processed through the Wide Area Workflow system using a combination invoice and receiving report format, though specific contract values and detailed performance locations are not disclosed in the available solicitation information.
