About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of State Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan is soliciting quotations for the replacement of kitchen fire suppression systems under RFQ 19UZ8025Q0027. The procurement requires a qualified contractor to install an Ansul Piranha wet chemical fire suppression system with full continuous protection, including two kitchen hood systems that meet NFPA 17A standards and a 40-gallon water tank or connection to the sprinkler system. Contractors must be ANSUL Certified service providers and registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to proposal submission. The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to the responsible company submitting the lowest-priced acceptable quotation, with awards based on initial quotations without discussions, though discussions may be held if necessary. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for June 17, 2025 at 15:00 Tashkent time, requiring 48-hour advance notice for access, and quotations must be hand-delivered by 14:00 Tashkent time on July 10, 2025.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and no incumbent contractors are identified in the solicitation. The contract will be performed at the U.S. Embassy located at 3 Mayqorghon Street, 5th block, Yunusobod District, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. While specific award values are not disclosed, the contract involves installing comprehensive fire suppression coverage for the embassy's kitchen facilities, including detailed inspection and testing processes to verify nozzle placement, equipment functionality, and compliance with manufacturer requirements. The work requires coordination with embassy security protocols, as evidenced by the requirement for advance notification to arrange proposal delivery and conference attendance. The solicitation emphasizes the critical nature of fire safety systems in diplomatic facilities and the need for specialized certification and expertise in ANSUL fire suppression technology.
