About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to procure Program Management and Integrated Logistics Support services for Israel Air Force CH-53K Aircraft through a sole-source contract award. The procurement will be conducted under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-25-G-0004 and falls under NAICS code 336413 for Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing. The government plans to negotiate exclusively with General Electric Company located in Lynn, Massachusetts, citing authority under 10 U.S.C.3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 as the only responsible source capable of satisfying the agency's requirements. This pre-solicitation notice was posted on June 10, 2025, with a response deadline of June 25, 2025. The procurement involves integrated logistics support efforts specifically tailored to support the Israel Air Force's CH-53K helicopter fleet operations.

This contract opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and is structured as a sole-source procurement to General Electric Company at 1000 Western Ave, Lynn, MA. General Electric appears to be both the intended prime contractor and likely incumbent provider for this specialized support requirement. While specific contract values and budget ranges are not disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice, the procurement encompasses comprehensive program management and logistics support services. Companies interested in potential subcontracting opportunities are directed to contact Ms. Brandie Roets, Director of Government Contracts at GE Aerospace, via email at Brandie.Roets@geaerospace.com. The contract structure under the existing Basic Ordering Agreement suggests this may be part of an ongoing or follow-on support arrangement for the CH-53K program. The specialized nature of supporting foreign military sales aircraft and the sole-source justification indicates this is a highly technical requirement with limited market competition.
