About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Fort Worth is soliciting proposals for comprehensive herbicide and pesticide application services at four Central Texas lakes: Aquilla, Navarro Mills, Waco, and Whitney Lakes. This non-personal services contract requires contractors to provide all management, tools, equipment, materials, chemicals, and labor necessary to achieve desired vegetation and pest control results through professional application of herbicides and insecticides. The contractor will operate independently without government supervision or control over service providers, maintaining full accountability for all applications and treatment results as defined in the Performance Work Statement. The solicitation was posted on July 11, 2025, with proposals due by September 16, 2025. Amendment AMD01 corrected the contract type to Indefinite Quantity and clarified the period of performance requirements.

The contract establishes a maximum capacity of $3,000,000.00 as an indefinite quantity arrangement, allowing for flexible ordering based on actual service requirements. Performance will take place in Waco, Texas, encompassing the four specified regional lakes throughout Central Texas. No incumbent contractors are identified in the solicitation notice. The contractor must meet all performance standards outlined in the contract requirements while maintaining complete responsibility for service delivery and results achievement across all designated lake facilities.
