About this opportunity

The Air Force Sustainment Center Software Directorate (AFSC/SW) is seeking a governmental entity partner through an Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA) to enhance the technical competencies and capabilities of its software professional workforce in support of advanced Department of the Air Force programs. The procuring agency is the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center, a defense organization focused on sustainment and support operations. Key requirements include demonstrated experience in providing access to improved networks and technologies, facilitating workforce development, and establishing connections with academic, community, and industry partners within the central Oklahoma aerospace and defense ecosystem. Responses will be evaluated based on the respondent's company profile, detailed capability descriptions, proposed approach to workforce development, collaboration opportunities, and potential for providing co-located space. The response deadline for this Request for Information is January 19, 2026, with responses limited to five pages per the RFI specifications.

This opportunity carries no set-aside designations and is restricted to governmental entities only, as it is structured as an Intergovernmental Support Agreement rather than a traditional federal contract. No incumbent contractor or current contract values have been identified in the pre-solicitation notice. The anticipated contract structure is firm-fixed price, and the work is classified under NAICS code 541513 (Computer Facilities Management Services). The RFI is issued for informational purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to award a contract, allowing AFSC/SW to assess market capabilities and potential partnership options before proceeding with formal procurement. This pre-solicitation notice represents an exploratory phase to identify qualified governmental partners capable of supporting the 76th Software Engineering Group's strategic objectives in central Oklahoma.
